The VZ FRAG 1911 grips are a collaboration between our good friend, Ned Christiansen and Mr. VanZyck. Ned is not only is a well known Gunsmith / Machinist / Dreamer but an active competitor since the mid 1970's. The VZ FRAG 1911 grips are derived from one of Ned's front strap treatments, and it was only a matter of time before it ended up as texture on one of our 1911 grips. The large square cuts resembles a fragmentation grenade, hence the name. The texture gives you a comfortable purchase on the palm and the harder you grip them the more bite you get.

VZ's 1911 grips are designed to fit all of the most popular compact (Officer’s) 1911 models from Colt®, Springfield Armory®, Kimber®, Les Baer®, Dan Wesson Firearms®, and many more.
