Popular K/L-Frame models include:

• S&W Model 19: May use a round- or square-bottom K/L-Frame.
• S&W Model 10: Pre-1994 models are listed by VZ as square bottom, while post-1994 models are round bottom.

These differences are why searching only by revolver model is not always enough. Two Smith & Wesson revolvers within the same model family can require different grip configurations.

The terms round bottom and square bottom describe the shape of the revolver's grip frame underneath the installed grips.
