These grips are just as impressive to shoot with as they are to look at. In rapid fire situations I have found that I do not need to readjust my grip after firing a few. I have had your operator grips on all my 1911 pistols for quite some time and have been extremely pleased with their performance. So I aquired two new 1911s and went to your site to order the grips. Well you guys couldn't leave well enough alone you had to come out with operator II grips. OK I thought I'll give em a try. Ordered two sets got them quite quickly and installed them. Took both pistols to the range today and now I am trying to figure out how to come up with cash to put operator II on all my pistols.

Just wanted to let y'all know how completely awesome these grips. I got the gator back, slimline micarta grips. I was previously using G10 composite grips. While these grips offer a near unprecedented grip, they were just too much for a daily CC weapon. I often felt a sensation of...road rash...where the grips constantly made contact with my side. These slim micarta grips sacrifice little in the way of grip, but make daily carry much more comfortable. The fit and feel is like no other. In fact, I believe I will only use micarta for carry guns, while using the G10 for full size duty weapons. Thank you VZGRIPS, for making outstanding products. I'll be sure to send some more business your way.

John, I just wanted to say Thank You for the quality of the construction and materials you put into your grips. Recently I purchased a pair of VZ Aliens for my Rock River 1911. Yesterday, they proved to be worth every penny! I am a reloader and was at the range and my first shot of the morning turned out to be every reloaders nightmare, a "Kaboom". The magazine flew out of the gun and something hit me hard in the face. After regaining my compusure, I discovered that I only had a small cut and that the Rock River was entirely intact and still functional!! Normally, this type of accident would cause the grips to explode in the operators hand but yours stayed intact, dirty but intact and I'm sure saved my hand from damage. I now have the outline of the Aliens "stamped" into my palm from the impact but otherwise all is well.

Again, Thank You and I'll definitely be a repeat customer. BTW, the grips look and feel fantastic!!

I just received the ETC grips in black along with some DPL screws. I've already gotten compliments from friends. The grips look fantastic. They are extremely grippy, but not abrasive. They have a very simple and traditional look that doesn't stray too far from the classic double diamond appeal. The DPL screws are a unique and stylish upgrade. I couldn't be happier. I just want to thank you. I bugged you through email twice, then over the phone twice, and all the while you provided great customer service.

I haven't had a chance to shoot my new firearm yet that I put the grips onto due to ammo shortages, but they do feel great in my hands. I've been shooting 1911's for many years now, and I know a good feeling grip on a 1911 when I hold one, and these are some of the best. The thumb notch is great and I can get to the mag release faster than before. I've attached two photos of my 1911 with your grips so you guys can see how well they match up. Perfect color combination of green and black to go with my OD green and black 1911, lol. They were made for each other! Expect at least 2 more orders from me in the future for my other 2 1911's!

The guy who did it doesn't have an FFL, so shipping him the frame wasn't a realistic option. I just shipped him the parts and your grip - and it looks like it came out pretty well!

Just wanted to let you know that, having receiving the grips I ordered for my Kimber and my Hi-Power, I was really impressed. They are even nicer than I expected. I just can't get over how nice my Kimber TLE looks and feels now, with the Double Diamond Black Desert G10 grips. I just wanted to let you know that I ordered my VZ Operator Grips in Black G10 last Thursday and received them the following day. I installed them on my Kimber 1911 and used them the next day in a IDPA match. The grips worked great! Overall, to my surprise, I found that my accuracy had improved noticeably, with the only changes made to the gun was the installation of your grips! You grips improved my grip...LOL I will soon be buying another set of the same style, but only for my 3" 1911! As I say... No Wimpy Bullets 45ACP!

I received the grips yesterday. Kind of neat. I installed the Green/Black on a Parked Springfield that has scallops. This is very similar to the Pistol I am doing for the Handgunner Giveaway. I hope to be able to shoot it over
the weekend. I like the feel. I like a thinner grip and these feel thinner.I was surprised at the Red/Black. They look like a dark pair of coco-bolo grips I have on a Pistol.

Just wanted to drop a note to yall about how amazing the Pro-Slim grips feel & look on my Hi-Power. I have tried alot of other manufacturers grips, but none of them can compare to the Pro-Slims. Not even the various wood grips can come close.

The Pro-Slims really shine when I take my Hi-Power out shooting.

Sorry for the late reply, but I did receive the grips within one days time. They are quite stunning! In fact a friend of mine ordered a pair of the aliens in black for his Wilson CQB 1911 the day after I fitted mine. He was jealous of my half as expensive springfield operator haha! The Desert Sand goes great with the blued armory kote finish and will match my summer khaki patrol uniform nicely. I spent this week qualifying with the weapon and ended up shooting expert (marksman, sharpshooter, expert and master are our scoring levels). I can't help but think these grips may have aided me with my overall control of the weapon in this blistering heat. Sweat was never a problem on the range and it was over 100 degrees every day. Never had grips this aggressive before! Some of the range staff who carried 1911's were very impressed with the aliens and I gave them your information. I'll definitely look to you first for grips in the future! I'm going to be picking up an STI Escort as my backup and off duty carry and I'll contact you as soon as I do for another set! Thanks again for your quick and timely service. You make an awesome product!

the properties of micarta - probably based on a cheap knife or poor execution of it's use in the past but these seem _rock solid_ great texture, cool patterns - made my new TLE II look worlds better and they don't gnaw away at my hands like my alumagrips.. love 'em. Thanks for

I've received the grips. I like the profile and the overall feel of the canvas Micarta coarse blasted grips. The plunger tube support looks good, which is a feature lacking on some custom grips. The edge finish and execution of all the machine cuts is done very nicely without leaving sharp edges and corners. I build high end custom 1911's, and am always looking for new grips to use with my guns.

Hi,

I wanted to express my thanks for the completion of my recent order, so please share this with your staff. I was excited to see that VZ Operators are now available in a compact size and ordered a set, but I wanted them without the mainspring pin cut out and cut flat, not beveled, because the pistol has a magwell. I got a message a couple of days later that there was a problem, and when I called, I was told that VZ Operators could only be made with the mainspring pin notch. We agreed to substitute a set of VZ Diamondbacks instead.

After about ten days, I called to check on the progress of my order. The very nice woman who answered the phone knew exactly what order I was talking about and told me she had mailed it the previous day, and after discussing it with your machinist, they were, in fact, able to make me a set of VZ Operators in the configuration I needed.

The grips arrived a day or two later, were immediately installed, and I've been using them for about a week now. Needless to say, the grips fit perfectly and look and feel great. I am very pleased!

I really appreciate the extra effort that everyone put in to deliver the product I wanted, even after I'd already agreed to a substitution. I have them on my Government models and really like them, so being able to have the same feel on my smaller pistol also is a real plus. I've tried a lot of different grips, and these are definitely my favorites. Whenever I order a new 1911, I'll always be ordering set of VZ Grips to go with them.

My name is Tom Gastauer, I purchased a set of Black Operator Grips with Wilson Medallions inset into the grips for my Wilson CQB from you. They look awesome and feel great, but that is not why I'm emailing you. I wanted to thank you because your grips literally saved my hands. I was at the range shooting some hand loads and I had a catastrophic ammo failure in my 1911. Apparently the chambered round exploded and ignited the next round in the magazine which exploded, blasting the follower, spring, and the other rounds in the magazine through the grip and out the bottom of the pistol. I actually took a couple of small pieces of shrapnel in the face. Needless to say it was a hair raising experience. I turned the Wilson into a pistolsmith to have it examined (miraculously it was not damaged) and he told me that if I had wood grips instead of the Micarta grips on my gun, I would had wood splinters blown into my hands. I had black stripes on my hands from where the explosion forced its way between the grips and the pistol, but thats all. The force of the explosion was great, the magazine was completely destroyed, but the grips are completely intact, and after I cleaned then they appear to have only minor damage where the grip screw holes are. Amazing!!!! Thanks again for your awesome grips, they look and feel great, and they saved my hands as well.

Got my VZ Gator back slims, they installed perfectly, fit and look great. Real quality workmanship. The took about 1/4" off the thickness of my carry gun while still allowing a positive grip. Thanks for an excellent product

I received the black paper ultra slim grips I ordered and installed them on my Kimber. As expected, the fit and finish is as close to perfect as one could hope for. But I have to admit, even I was surprised at the difference

the slim grips make. My fingers are rather short and fat relative to my palm, and my grip on a standard 1911 is at the limit of what I consider acceptable for firing. I've been thinking about having a short trigger installed. But the slim grips did the trick and put the pad of my finger on

John, attached are photos of my Wilson CQB and Ed Brown Special Forces with your black paper ultra slims. I put these grips on all my 1911's, and I wouldn't use anything else.

I wanted to thank you for making a superior product. Your grips fit perfectly on all my Wilson's, Nighthawk's. Kimber's, and Ed Brown's.

I have your Diamond Backs on most of my guns, but did try the Gator Backs on a couple of guns. They give enough "grip" without tearing my hands apart. I spent the day shooting today and after 2000 plus rounds my hands are fine. I do carry the Diamond Backs daily and have found them to be very comfortable. You will continue to know when I purchase a new gun because I will be calling you on the way out of the door of the gun shop to order a set. If you happen to know anyone looking for factory grips from all the above mentioned manufactures I have a box full I would let go very cheap!
